The SSHS hockey team (7-4-3) traveled to Monsey, N.Y. over the weekend to participate in a tournament against Suffern (12-1-0) and Pelham (11-2-1), both of Section I. Both were losses for Saratoga, with scores of 4-0 and 6-3, respectively. The Blue Streaks were already ranked below both of the Hudson Valley teams but suffered from injuries of several players. They tied in both first periods, showing a possible reversal of their trend of slow starts.
Shenendehowa, who also particapted in the tournament, saw losses to both Section I teams as well.
