The play “Almost, Maine,” which the high school drama club performs this weekend, is a romantic comedy that tells the story of nine different couples falling in, being in or falling out of love with each other.
“Since there is no singing we have to step up the drama,” said Matthew Boyce, who plays Dan in the play. “The audience can look forward to experiencing a different side of the Drama Club…” said Boyce.
“Almost, Maine” is directed by Kirk Starczewski through arrangement with Dramatists Play Service and features a cast of 19 students representing grades 9-12.
The play will be presented in the high school’s Loewenberg Auditorium. Tickets are $3 for students, $6 for adults, and $3 for senior citizen. Tickets are available both outside the cafeteria during lunch periods and at the door one hour before each show. All seats are general admission.
