Crispy Chicken Sandwich: 9.5/10
I heard my peers celebrate when they checked the lunch calendar to find it was crispy chicken sandwich day. Their eager voices intrigued me. Was the sandwich really that special? I waited in line to get the meal and returned to my table. It looked like an average chicken sandwich but looks can be deceiving. As soon as I bit into the sandwich, I got my answer to the previous question. Yes, the sandwich was truly that special – the flavor of the chicken was perfect. No extra seasoning was necessary, but it was also tasty when “dressed up” with sauce, according to my peers. The sandwich was exquisite; it was cooked to perfection, seasoned by an angel, and delicately put together. I left this experience with the answer to my original question, but gaining an additional inquiry: How had I survived my whole life without it?
Waffle Fries: 6/10
The waffle fries were confusing. I hate to define the strangely cut potato like this, but there is no better way to describe the lunchtime classic. Some of the fries were perfect, some were soggy, and others were irregularly shaped. In a way, these differences became a fun game – you never knew what you would get next. On the other hand, the fries were inconsistent, hence the lower score. At the end of the day, they are likely frozen waffle fries, so I cannot be too critical. The fries sufficed and, although they have room for improvement, they were decent.
