-More Details on BioLab Fires in Atlanta have been Disclosed: On September 29th, a malfunctioning sprinkler ignited a fire at the BioLab chemical plant in Conyers, Georgia near the busy city of Atlanta. This “caused water to mix with a water-reactive chemical, producing a plume of chemicals” dangerous to humans. A large cloud of smoke was visible on that Sunday afternoon for 30 miles. This past Friday, an investigation update was sent out by the U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board, and details of the event are now in writing on AP News (click the link below for more info). After the building collapsed, the interstate nearby shut down and shelter in place warnings were active for weeks after the event. -The US gives Ukraine Permission to Fire Their Missiles Against Russian Forces: As the Russian army is forcefully moving through Ukraine, the prospect of an increased relationship with the United States come President-elect Trump’s time in office fuels the Russian war effort. These events are leading to many conclusions that Russia might be coming on top soon in their war with Ukraine. Putin announced last week that a ballistic missile was sent to and struck Ukraine, opening the possibility and threat of nuclear weaponry in this war. Recently, President Biden made the decision to provide Ukraine with American missiles to use in Russian territories, in effort to help the country clap back on Russia’s dominance.

-Isreal’s Prime Minister Netanyahu Issued Arrest Warrants Over War with Gaza: Last Thursday, Isreal Prime Minister and his former defense minister, Yoav Gallant, were accused of war and humanity crimes in the Gaza Strip by the International Criminal Court. The New York Times said in a news release that there were reasonable grounds to believe that Mr. Netanyahu and Mr. Gallant “intentionally and knowingly deprived the civilian population in Gaza of objects indispensable to their survival, including food, water, and medicine and medical supplies, as well as fuel and electricity”. Additionally, the same court put out a warrant for the arrest of Muhammad Deif, the Hamas’ military chief for crimes against humanity as well, on top of murder, taking people hostage and sexual violence. Even though this warrant has been filed, rumors of Deif’s death have been circulating. With no clear verdicts for these figures in the Isreal/Hamas War, we can only wait to see what happens.
