Are you looking for a way to improve your leadership skills and be a part of a new and growing program? Come join the Student Athlete Leadership Team! S.A.L.T is a club that offers many committees you could be a part of such as mental health awareness for athletes, scholar-athletes, and community service. Each committee works to organize events and ideas to improve the athletic program at Saratoga Springs High School. As a part of this club, we have been modeling our program based on the New York State Public High School Athletic Association and the programs they have to offer. Please reference this site for more information (www.NYSPHSAA.org). This gives an opportunity for student athletes to have a voice in the athletic department and community of athletics in Saratoga, and also provides students opportunities to be a leader for topics they are passionate about such as mental health and giving back. S.A.L.T meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 2:05 in the athletic conference room, and are always open to hear students’ ideas on improving athletics in our school and community!
