Caffè Lena is a historic folk music venue established in 1960, making it the oldest continuously operating venue of its kind in the US. It has hosted legends such as Bob Dylan and Arlo Guthrie. Below are some top picks for great shows in March!
Our first pick of the month is The Chatham Rabbits. With a soothing bluegrass and country sound, they transport you back to a nostalgic place where the wind blows through tall strings of lush, green grass and you’re sipping scorching tea in a familiar rocking chair. Their lyrics accompanied by tunes from the banjo and guitar never fail to captivate the audience. You don’t want to miss this iconic duo!
Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC) and Caffè Lena are excited to co-present DakhaBrakha, a folk group from Kyiv, Ukraine. Both their lyrics and instrumentals provide a hypnotic atmosphere that pulls everyone in the audience into an intense mood filled with a self-proclaimed “ethno-chaos.” Additionally, their avant-garde outfits are the icing on the cake, completing their captivating stage presence.
