I’ve realized that the reason I started writing these Hallway Highlight articles is because I thought that I had a good sense of style, but I’ve realized that nobody has interviewed me about my style. So, for the second to last article of the year, I present to you: Hallway Highlights: All Ava.

This outfit was inspired by the hippie in me. I like to prance around in long skirts and tiny tops because it makes me feel connected to the crystals I carry in my tote bag, pockets, and shoes. You can fact check all of those, I make clanking noises when I walk through the halls.

This outfit was inspired by the fact that I love myself. If you can’t see the shirt, it does in fact, say “I <3 Myself” (the heart is embroidered). I also like the pink pants as a statement piece because they’re adorable. It all just screams “wow, that girl really loves herself” which is the point of the outfit.

This outfit was inspired by the fact that I started listening to this band because a boy I like listened to this band. It’s a great band! But I didn’t start listening to their music until January. Sorry to all of the people who I might’ve lied to, but I didn’t really lie because I do listen to their music, I’m just not a longtime fan. But I did get called “cool” and “nonchalant” while wearing this outfit, so I think it worked out well for me.
Was this article just a way to get my face on the newspaper 3 times? Maybe. But if you take anything away from this or any of my Hallway Highlight articles, I say: Do what you want. Wear what you want. Be yourself.
