Aside from the main course of turkey, gravy and mashed potatoes, Thanksgiving is known for all of its tasty desserts; but all that pumpkin pie every single year? And don’t get me wrong, pie is great of course, but adding some different treats to the table this year might be just the addition you’re looking for for your Thanksgiving menu. Plus, it definitely helps that these cookies are the perfect comfort food to close off the Autumn season! Below is the recipe if you think you might check it out:
Autumn White-Chocolate Chunk Cookies
Ingredients:
· 2/3 C butter (softened)
· 2/3 C brown sugar
· 2 eggs
· 1 ½ C old fashioned oats
· 1 ½ C flour
· 1 tsp salt
· 1 6-oz pack dried cranberries
· 2/3 C white chocolate chips
· 2/3 C crystallized ginger pieces
Directions:
· Preheat oven to 375 F
· In the first bowl using an electric mixer, beat butter and sugar together until light and fluffy
· In the first bowl, add eggs while mixing well
· In the second bowl, combine oats, flour, baking soda, and salt
· Combine the second bowl into the first bowl slowly while mixing well
· Stir in dried cranberries and white chocolate
· Put tsp sized dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet
· Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown
· Enjoy your cookies!
