-GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Resigns from Congress: On November 21st, Georgia’s Congressional Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene announced she will be resigning from her position after less than 5 years in office, effective January 5, 2026. Once a vocal supporter of President Trump and his policies, Greene has recently been criticizing Trump’s new administration goals during her time in Congress this year. She attributes her decision to a recent dynamic and value shift in the Republican Party and the public feud that has arisen from her criticism of Trump over the past few months regarding the Epstein files and his endorsement withdrawal. She announced her decision with a statement that “skewered Congress for being beholden to monied interests instead of the concern of everyday Americans,” said USA Today

-Will the Russia-Ukraine War End by Thanksgiving? The United States has set a 28-point peace plan to end the Russia-Ukraine war by the end of November, stating its conditions would be that there would be “no recognition of Ukrainian territory as Russian and no limits on Kyiv’s armed forces,” said newsweek.com. This war between Russia and Ukraine has been in action since February 2022, and military tension, destruction of cities, and thousands of deaths have been on a steep incline since then. The U.S. is in the process of communicating with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to reach an agreement on the peace plan in the coming week.
