Seniors Will ‘Dress To Kill’ for the First Post-Quarantine School Dance

By Isabel Zellner-Coe

This Friday, October 29th from 7:00-9:30 PM, the senior class will host the first indoor dance since March 2020, the Senior Halloween Dance, in the White Gym at Saratoga Springs High School.

“We have sold over one hundred tickets and the kids are very excited because they did not get a dance last year,” said Ms. Amey, co-adviser of the class of 2022.

Great costumes are encouraged and will be rewarded on dance night. The class officers have prepared a monstrous candy basket for the best dressed attendee.

The dance will have no concessions, but it will include a DJ and Halloween decorations. This dance is only for seniors, and tickets are sold out. The senior class officers, President Molly Egan, Vice President Elle Wilcox, Treasurer Adam Mancini, and Secretary Isabelle Kelly, have worked to make the Senior Halloween dance memorable.

“The last few years have looked a little grim,” Egan said. “We felt a push to start planning events which could boost some morale. The Halloween dance was a series of compromises, and with the help of Ms. Tsao, we are so excited to get seniors together, having fun, and enjoying school activities. I am excited to see the costumes!”

If you are looking for more fun in your senior year, the class officers and advisers are open to all suggestions to make this year one to remember.
